Singapore also pushed forward hawkish policy by adjusting its currency band to counter inflation pressure.\u00c2 <b>This signals that various economies globally has moved early to anchor inflation expectations<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><b data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Bank Indonesia maintained with tight tone<\/b>\u00c2 with holding the BI rate, in line with consensus. However, BI\u00c2 <b>raised the SRBI rates<\/b>\u00c2 as a mean to defend the IDR which has hit\u00c2 <b>17300\/USD<\/b>\u00c2 driven by a jumbo maturity in forwards. Furthermore\u00c2 BI stated\u00c2 <b>that rate hike must be caused by sustainable IDR weakening and persistent inflation pass-through<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><b data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Indonesia MoF changed two director generals:\u00c2 <\/b>the DirJen\u00c2 for budget, and Dirjen\u00c2 for Economic and Fiscal Strategy<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><b data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">MSCI to continue index freeze<\/b>\u00c2 for Indonesia citing monitoring market reform progress. We see opportunity within sector selection and would begin positioning and avoid speculative position.
